Unique flora
There are lots of truly unique plants here in New Zealand. This is one of them, found near Newlands Kindergarten. It's a bush, but bearing flowers which look like they are on barbecue sticks.

Flowers in New Zealand 4
Hydrangaeas (also called Mayflower) blooms abundantly here in New Zealand. In fact, they are almost always present in gardens and hedges. The colors are varied and beautiful, from pastels to dark colours. It makes spring and summer a whole lot colorful and festive.
